Purple
In an article that appeared in “The Record” on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, Village Barber Shop Stockton owner Bobby Page had this to say:
Bobby Page, owner of Village Barber Shop in Lincoln Center, said he’s been working and trying to make a living since his shop reopened indoors with modifications in September after two months of closure.
“When we opened up in September, we opened in the purple category already,” Page said. “I really don’t see this affecting us at all because we’ve been doing what we’ve normally been doing since September.”
Page and his barbers wipe down the chairs, which are physically distanced, wear face coverings, require customers to wear face coverings, spray and disinfectant, and wash their hands frequently.
“We’ve been complying with that steadily since September 1st,” he said. “We’ve had the state come in and inspect and they left and didn’t have any problems with what we’re doing.
“Right now I feel quite confident that we are doing fine,” said Page, “and I’m sure the rest of the barbers and hair dressers are doing the same thing.”
